 Organizes Group Boating Activities

• Celebrates the start of boating season with a Blessing of the Fleet

• Brings together members who share a love of boating
• Hosts dockside gatherings, BBQs, themed parties, and informal meetups
• Celebrates Football Sundays

 Schedules Events & Cruises

• Creates a seasonal calendar of boating excursions
• Coordinates weekend outings like rendezvous at marinas and yacht clubs
• Often includes land-based events for non-boating members too

 Promotes Safety & Seamanship

• Shares best practices for safe boating
• May offer informal training or invite guest speakers
• Encourages responsible boating and mutual support on the water

 Fun Competitions & Awards

• Organizes light-hearted races or scavenger hunts on the water
• Competes in the Commodore’s Cup Cardboard Regatta
• Keeps the spirit fun and inclusive, not overly competitive
